Wow. An actual response from one of you! Cool.
Larry wanted to know what my actual work on it. And although I don’t really have anything that I do the same way everyday I can basically run it down for you.
- 15 mins of cardio. Either a bike ride of skipping rope or spin bike.
- 30 mins of heavy bag work. I like a HIIT workout called 1000 punches. It’s 100 punches as hard as you can, rest for one minute and go again… For 10 rounds. That takes about 20 mins. I then do 5 rounds of body punches for 2 mins each.
- Then I take a recovery shake or protein drink, like Isopure.
- Then I lift weights for 20 mins, concentrated on shoulders, back, and chest.
- Then I put the EMS on my chest, biceps and abs (in that order) for a min of 40 mins each body.
Now I know you’re going to say that you don’t have time to do all of that. But the thing is, I do. So I’m working as hard as I possibly can I have the results that I want to have.
Now onto the diet. Here’s the trick.
The diet is so much easier than people think that it is. Honest-to-god once you get through the first week it is an absolute breeze.
I fast from 7 p.m. until noon. Then between noon and 7 p.m. I pretty much eat whatever I want though I concentrate on having as little carbs as possible and super clean protein for dinner. And I stay away from processed food. And junk food. For instance today I had a protein shake and some ham and cheese for lunch. Not sure what we’ll have for dinner tonight but there will be a protein source and a vegetable source. And you don’t need dessert. You’re not fucking six.
Sometimes at about a quarter to 7, I will have a protein bar or some beef jerky or something because I know I won’t eat again until noon the next day.
So that’s basically it. All of that and don’t drink alcohol. Get a good night’s sleep (which is far easier without the alcohol in your system). Stop worrying so much about stuff you can’t control. Meditate a little. Play with your kids. Love your spouse.
Easy right?
Peace
