Well it really is amazing what a good night sleep will do for your body. It just reinforces what my wife and I have been talking about for the last few days about how our bodies truly are designed for us to be healthy. We’re the ones that keep fuckin them up. Start doing the research and you realize that nearly every disease. In fact 90% of all disease is caused by environmental issues and what we put into or deny our bodies. It’s really pretty stupid when you think about it. Why would we spend so much time waiting our selves and then complain about being poisoned? What kind of fucking sense does that make?
So after a decent night’s sleep and the body has been repaired a little bit. Getting to the workouts didn’t seem like such a chore today. It’s been seven days since we had any alcohol and I’m starting to feel a lot cleaner. The weight isn’t coming off yet but I really haven’t worried about that until right about now. Now is when the real training camp starts. Now we start getting our sweat on. I’m sure we’ll still have some withdrawal issues and some psychological things to deal with as far as the drinking goes but so far so good and we are full steam ahead.
Hitting the bag was fine today. I don’t think I went long enough. But I definitely went hard enough. I got a new high intensity interval training workout that I started as well, so that will be a challenge.
I may be out of shape. I may be slow in some aspects but my hands are still fast. Well maybe not fast but fastish
So, its been a week. We don’t get to use alcohol as an excuse anymore. We’re past the hardest park. We were talking yesterday that we ha e never really given anything a full go. We have tried this lifestyle change and that diet before but we’ve always given uo after a couple of weeks or a month of not seeing dramatic results. We know that we need to stay with it. Its not just about the alcohol. Its not just about the lack of exercise or too much sugar or whatever. Its the total package.
I have given myself until Halloween to see what more than 3 full months of this will do.
Thanks again for reading and reaching out.
Peace
