My wife and I were talking yesterday about the things that we need to maybe improve upon. And I think both of us came to the conclusion that we need to increase the intensity level of our workouts. But for me personally, I need to improve my tracking. My mindfulness. My ability to stay focused on what the long-term goal is.
One of the things I need to be better about tracking is how many calories am I actually burning throughout the day. Sometimes I feel like I’m dying during my workout and then when I finish I feel a little disappointed. I feel like I probably could have gone harder. Being able to know how many calories I burned during that workout would help me stay focused.
So….. I splurged and bought a Galaxy Smart Watch.
Now some people might say that it does not matter and that it’s just a gimmick. But when you have my personality, you are obsessed with information. The more info, the better. It’s just how I am built.
If I can see, in real time, my calorie burn and activity stats, I will be more diligent.
We’re heading to the coast this weekend for a last minute weekend at the ocean. Sort of a last hurrah before virtual school starts for the 3rd grader, so I might not post on Sunday.
But before we leave, it’s weigh-in day tomorrow….
Fingers crossed
Peace
